Before you submit your work:
Highlight it, and press "ctrl + c" together. You will not lose your work if an error ocurrs while submitting. If an error occurs, simply go back to hand-in-homework, place the curser in the message field, and press "ctrl+ v" and you will paste your work back into the message box. Then submit it again.
