 1. What is the title of this cartoon? National Debt

2. What is the space ship labeled? White House Space Plans

3. What recent news story does the space ship refer to? President Bush announced he wanted additional funding for NASA for a Mars Program... he wants to send astronauts to Mars and set up a colony on the Moon.

4. Explain why there is a lot of extra red line tied to the space ship. The rocket hasn't set off yet, but, when it does, National Debt is going to go REALLY high.

5. Explain why you think this cartoon is praiseworthy or critical of President Bush. I believe this cartoon is critical of Pres. Bush. That is because it is saying that National Debt is going to go through the roof because of him and his space plans. You may post my answers, I don't mind. -Katie
