Due to family illness over the
vacation, there are no new grades available for the DBQ or Curriculum
Guides.
Students:
We begin to examine famous
inventors like Thomas Edison today. Inventors is just one of three
factors of Industrialization which we will study this week, and quiz on
Friday.
Two other factors include
America's abundant natural resources, and the growth of cities.
We'll explain these more on Thursday and Friday.
Next week, we will discuss
the "Captains of Industry" through the eyes of workers and
Immigrants to see if the title of "Robber Baron" is more
appropriate for America's Industrialists.
