Parents:

Due to my stint on the Grand Jury interrupting my availability for students to complete corrections last Thursday and Friday, I will extend the first round of corrections to Tuesday at 4:05pm.

The second round of corrections are open only to those who submitted corrected scantrons on the first round of corrections. The second round of corrections will be due by Wednesday, March 24th at 3:17pm. (There will be no activity period available on the last day of corrections.

There are several rules for corrections:

1. They are optional.

2. Students who cheat or appear to violate my trust with regard to corrections may lose their option.

3. All corrections must be completed in my classroom during tutorial or activity period. Testing rules regarding silence applies. Students who talk during corrections automatically lose the corrections privilege.

4. Once my class has 28 students in it, I can not accept more. (Suggestion: Do not procrastinate.)

5. To qualify for the second set of corrections, one must complete the first round of corrections on time. (See me if you had an absence.)

Students:

Corrections to the mid-term exam is optional. If I feel that you are neglecting your current studies by not completing HW assignments, or doing poorly on assessments, I may cancel your option to correct the Mid-term exam.

This week: Imperialism and the Spanish- American War. WE will aslo watch the opening scenes to Anne Frank in support of your wonderful Language Arts class.
