FMS Team Web Page Units Reviews Resources Former Students

Date of last update: Wednesday, October 20, 2004

Students:

A Presidential debate will air this evening at 9pm on most major TV networks and Public Radio.  The topic is "foreign Policy," which primarily focuses on our class study of modern terrorism.  On Friday, October 1st, we will have a fishbowl discussion about your impressions of the two candidates and how you feel they performed.  We will view clips of the candidates in debate and use our newly learned vocabulary terms to discuss America's foreign policy.

Parents:

Thanks to all parents who took the time to stop by for our Open House.  I am very excited about this year, and believe that your child will not only be challenged in Social Studies this year, they will be engaged!

The first five week interim ends on Thursday, October 7th, and the following week week a student grade report will be sent home.  I will be including the results of our Terrorism Unit Test held on October 8th in these reports.
