Parents:

The WebQuest is coming to an end as students begin to deliver their timeline and research paper projects.  "Clockbuster" passes were given to all students on Friday, 10/29, and Monday, 11/1, to allow those who struggled an extra period of time to complete the project without penalty.

I am very pleased by the way students helped one another in this project, especially Bobby C. who not only helped students in his group, but also made himself useful to other students after school.  Way to go, Bobby!

Parents:

AIS services have been delivered to those students identified, and will take place once every other week.

Announcements:

American Education week is coming.  Please RSVP with the form sent home if you intend to visit on November 17th.

Yearbook sales take place this week.  If you order, have a check for $25 in homeroom by Friday, Nov. 5th.  It should be made out to "FMS Yearbook" and be in an envelope with student name, Teacher name, Homeroom number.

Class groupings will change for the second quarter.  Be aware that the core teachers are currently making the new class lists and these will be announced soon.

Washington Studies Club will meet on Monday, November 8th at 3:30 in room 153.  This is an 8th grade club which I advise, but 7th graders are welcome to attend and join in the fun.  We will conduct a mock trial in January.  Fundraising for a trip to Washington in May 2005 and 2006 are being planned.
