Students:

Your binder will be due to me in class on Monday (A/D Blocks) and Tuesday (B/C Blocks).  It is worth 160 points and each page needs to be completed accurately.    

Test Corrections for the Native American Unit Test and the Exploration Unit Test will be Thursday, January, 27th.  I will not count any corrections that arrive Friday morning unless you have made prior arrangements with me.  

This week we will re-write the Exploration Unit Test Essay in class.  Our focus will be on the purpose of an introduction and thesis statement, as well as how to support a generalization with specific facts from history.  

Students:  

FMS Student Council is running a "Name the New House Contest."  Entries must have an an Indian related name in order to keep the theme of FMS continuing.  See me for a a submission form.  Deadline has been extended to Friday, 1/21/05.  If you need the weekend, have it to me Monday morning.   

Parents:

 The second Quarter ends on Friday, January 28th.  Report cards will be sent home on Friday, February 4th.  

Also, there will be a Midterm Exam in Social Studies prior to the February break.  It will be a 1/2 year cumulative exam.  I will run review classes after school, as well as in class.  I will post more on this web site to assist students in their preparation for this exam.
