Parents:
The
"Box Top Battles" project went very well. Many more
students made efforts to achieve an A grade or better with this
"achievement" style presentation that our Unit 8 will be
presented in much the same manner.
A
letter will go home this week explaining how the achievement style
presentation works, and it will be necessary for your child to have
you sign and return it to me.
Students:
This
week we will discuss plans for "Andy Semp
fundraising." It is time to get our message out to the
rest of the school that we are supporting a soldier in
Iraq.
Also,
any student interested in participating in a Memorial Day Project
may contact me. Displaying home-made flags in Mohawk House
will require lots of hands to get done.
Also,
if we have interest, I would like to get a project started with a
local veterans organization so we can help place flags on the graves
of veterans at Prospect Hill Cemetery when we get closer to Memorial
Day.
