Parents:

Students had a difficult time with the Constitution Unit Test. I will spend more time reviewing the concepts from this unit as we proceed through the rest of the year and prepare for the late May and early June final exams.

Fourth Quarter is nearly here, and with it, beautiful weather. Please help me help you children stay on task!

The most difficult part of the recent units you have been signing off on is procrastination. Students who get the unit and begin their work can get right up to me easily and receive assistance and feedback, and many of those students improve their work prior to the final grade. Waiting until the last days of a unit guarantees that there will be many more "desperate" students seeking my attention, and I can not get to all of them - not even when they stay after school. My room is full. So heed my advice - start early!

Students:

The new unit has some great ways to take a virtual field trip to Monticello - Thomas Jefferson's amazing home. Be careful of your time, though. Be goal oriented, and entertain yourself when you have more time!
