Parents:

 

Chaperone letters for the Lake George Field trip went home Friday, May 19th.  Please sign and return these letters by Tuesday, May 23rd so that thank you letters may be prepared for those parents who volunteered but could not be accommodated on this trip.  Thank you.

 

Parents:

 

Interim letters went home on May 19th explaining how your child may have used last week to raise their grade average since the interim grade was first calculated and reported to you.  I will send home a mid week report for a new grade average.  This quarter ends with a June 8th Final Exam that counts 25% of the fourth quarter grade, so I want students going into this test with the highest grade average possible.  Thank you for helping me keep your child focused

 

Parents:

 

The FMS PTA has provided me with a generous grant to start a new club next year that will include study and reenactment of the Revolutionary War.  I will attend a weeklong training this summer at Fort Ticonderoga to become acquainted more intimately with the lifestyle and culture of the 1750's.  Next year you could expect to see interested students dressing the part, role-playing skirmishes, cooking outside, hiking in the Adirondacks, and possibly even having an overnight campout

Homework:  Draw three pictures to be used to illustrate the second, third and fourth sections of this essay.  A caption should accompany each drawing.  You will be graded on the summary of the idea you try to capture in your drawing, not the quality of your drawing.  Be prepared to explain your drawing to me individually during the Wed/Thurs class.
